Peter Pappas filed a lawsuit for the malfunction of the axial scanner at Kilkis hospital

In order to investigate the responsibilities of the administration regarding the continued under-operation of the axial surveyor at Kilkis General Hospital, the MP of Petros Pappas, who is also Deputy Head of Interior, responsible for Macedonia – Thrace issues of the party, submitted a petition. In his post SYRIZA MP Petros Pappas says that “the glass overflowed with the subfunction of the axial surveyor of Kilkis Hospital. Today I went to the District Attorney’s Office for Kilkis where I met with the competent DA. The purpose of the meeting was to file a reference lawsuit in order to investigate the responsibilities of the Kilkis Hospital Administration regarding the continued subfunction of the Axis Tomograph at Kilkis General Hospital.” “I am told that there are holidays in which no CT scans are performed at all,” he added. Congressman Kilkis of SYRIZA-PS stressed that he receives daily repeated civil complaints “about the hospital’s axial scanner not operating 24 hours a day nor 7 days a week”. “I am told that there are holidays during which no CT scans are performed at all but also daily, during which the axial scanner stops operating after 15:00,” he said. On the basis of these and following a timely question he had tabled on the same subject in the House, he asked for an investigation into the performance of responsibilities, to the extent that the continued under-operation of the axial tomograph allows patients of General Kilkis Hospital to be exposed to danger.
