Athens Stock Exchange: Fall 0.27% for the General Index, at 123.88m euros per turnover

With a small retreat closed today’s meeting (5.3.2024) in , with investors moving on to soft profit registration, after yesterday’s record of high 13 years. The General closed at 1,430.94 units, dropping 0.27%. Intra-sessionly recorded a lower value at 1,428 units (-0.48%). The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 123,88 million, while 24,436,272 shares were transferred. The high capitalization index fell to 0.64%, while the mid-capitalization index was increased to 0.15% on the Athens Stock Exchange. Of the shares in high capitalization, the largest rise was recorded by the shares of Quest Shareholders (+6.24%), the ELPE (+2.10%), Coca Cola HBC (+1.46%) and Saranti (+0.84%). On the contrary, the largest fall was recorded by the shares of Mytilene (-1,80%), OPAP (1.62%), Aegean (1,56%), Eurobank (1.53%) and Piraeus (1.52%). The largest volume of transactions was presented by the National and Eurobank by moving 4,800,997 and 4.586,108 shares respectively, while the largest transaction value was recorded by the National with 34,80m euros and Piraeus with 15,11m euros. Upward shares were moved, downhill and remained stable. The largest rise was noted by the shares: Q&R +14.86% and Bitros +9,82%. The largest fall was recorded by shares: Sato -9,43% and SIDA -5,86%.
