Increased will be policing throughout the national road network, even with undercover cops. Checkpoints of the Traffic police will be located every 20-30 miles based on the particular traffic conditions of each area, and particularly at points of frequent accidents, to the inputs-outputs of the major urban centres, as well as in places where there has been a massive passenger traffic (airports, ports, intercity BUS stations, railway stations, etc.).
In addition checks will be made for the attestation of dangerous offences, such as speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol, improper overtaking, etc., as well as for violations that are responsible for causing serious road traffic accidents, such as the use of mobile phones while driving.
