Training in developmental ages: From top to bottom

Sportbook publications with special pleasure present the two-volume work of football instructor Angelos Kyranoudis, entitled: PROMOTION TO THE DEVELOPMENTAL AGES – From the terrace to the top VOLUME A (TECHNICAL – Tactical) The future of football lies in children. Thousands of them in every corner of the country (roads, yards, alleys – where there are still academy courts and teams) kick a ball with the dream at some point to play in a “big” team. All of them want to look like M’Bape, Salah, Messi, Ronaldo, Donaruma and many other stars of the time. Few manage, however, to achieve their dream. Those of us who are involved in football in general, but also especially in developing age football, are obliged, each of us from his time, to help children achieve their dream. The state ensuring safe home conditions, the Federation rules and pre-development letters, the players places in native footballers (who can play in the National teams), parents a supportive rather than pressing environment towards their children, journalists a healthy cognitive environment and agents taking on a leading role. What about the coaches? The ones who are with the kids every day coaching them? Coaches have the most decisive role: Leaving away from children their personal (and often vain) ambitions must create an environment of working fun, safe, creative, based on the needs and requirements of each age, providing appropriate stimuli per age level, to help step by step in the development of children, first as people and then as football players. In this direction moves this book which is the result of thorough scientific research, practical experience of many years and stimuli from the way many UEFA football federations and major European teams work. The coach (and not only) will find a multitude of information about how children grow and learn, how he can calculate the development of children (physical and biological) and give the appropriate stimuli, with the characteristics of the developmental age coach, with the characteristics and needs of each age, with the methodology he must use at each age level, but also a rich ascetic coded by age, as well as by technical or regular element. Finally, this book, in addition to the developmental age coaches can help the parents of children, the factors involved in these ages, but also the teachers of Physical Education of Primary Education as the ages dealt with correspond to those of Primary School. With the conviction that it will help improve our country’s childhood football, I wish each and every one of you well read and apply. VOLUME B (NATURAL SITUATION-NEUROMIC ASSOCIATION) The season of the grove, unfortunately, has passed. The era of carefree and endless game, where all children ran, climbed, jumped, balanced, played various games and not just football, belongs to the past. Today we live in the age of information, in the era of smartphones, computers, artificial intelligence, where all we have and find from our couch. The new generation A is nothing like the generations of 80s, 90s or younger. Or not? Maybe this generation isn’t children too? Don’t they need to play, climb, run, jump, balance, etc? They got her. And we, as “great”, must satisfy this need. Parents, teachers, coaches must ensure such conditions that will help develop their personality. Because the game is a very serious factor in shaping the child’s personality. But how? The answer to how the reader will find it on the pages of this book. A book that quotes with scientific, but also practical data, a number of directions and instructions on how to bring the mindset of the grove into the present age of artificial intelligence. Unbelievable? Maybe. Unattainable? Nope. The parent, the teacher, the coach (but also those who are directly or indirectly involved in developmental age football) will find information and practical applications on how to develop a multifaceted, stable and constructive background on which the young footballers-athletes will build their technical and tactical behavior to reach KORIFI. And this background is nothing but physical condition and neuromuscular synapticity. Concepts so important but at the same time so neglected in development training. Without these abilities no technique and regular behavior can be developed. These abilities are founded and developed in young ages, while older ones simply improve. Good technique needs good balance, rhythm, different force application, coordination, explosiveity. Good tactics require orientation, response, speed, strength, endurance, constant decision making. So we need to build our children’s dreams on strong bases. But above all it is our obligation to build the health of our children and their personality on strong foundations.
