Leonidas Φελεκίδης, Alexandros Pantazidis and Elijah ΜπαλαφοÏτης. The team’s coach is mr. Panagiotis Pantazidis. If this is the first time the coach and his students participate in Olympiad, everyone is saying they are optimistic that it will represent worthily our country in a very competitive category.
The other 2 teams from Texas, are participating in the category football. These are the groups of the 1st LYCEUM of Xanthi, the school that gave us last year in the olympics, Qatar, silver medal. The RoboMasters consist of students Lefteris Γιαγκίδη, Joseph ΜποκουÏάκη and Panagiotis Vardar, while the RoboSpecialists students ΠαÏασκευόπουλο Dimitris, ΣονÎÏ Î§Î±ÏƒÎ¬Î½Î¿Î³Î»Î¿Ï… and last year’s olympic champion Alexander Πανταζίδη. Coach of the 2 groups is professor of informatics of the 1st LYCEUM of Xanthi, mr. Athanassios ΜπαλαφοÏτης.
Although the objectives of the 2 groups remain high, after the success last year of school, coach, and students keep a low profile, as the competition is big and every prediction would be risky.
A typical picture of the climate that prevails in the team is the statement of the head of the RoboSpecialists Alexander Πανταζίδη who question us about who are the targets of his team in this year’s olympiad has told us the following: “our Goal, like last year in Doha, is to distinguish ourselves among the 16 best teams in the competition. The fact that we come from a year in which we conquered the 2nd place worldwide, not us complains that extra weight other gives us extra motivation to get through it ourselves. Definitely looking at each match separately, but in the back of our mind we want to get as high as we can. We wish from our heart good luck to all the teams of Greek shippingâ€.
