Thessaloniki: Falling old in the waters of Thermaikos

In his waters he fell on Friday afternoon (29.03.2024) an elderly woman. The incident occurred shortly after 17:30, at the new beach of Thessaloniki, near Makedonia Palace, when a woman about 65 years old fell into the waters of Thermaikos. The Greek Police as well as the EKAB were immediately informed of the incident. Passing through he realized the woman’s fall and rushed to help her. The woman recovered from the water and was subsequently provided with the First Aid from the rescuers. Then, with an EKAB mobile unit, he was taken to the hospital “Saint Demetrius”.
