The project concerns the maintenance of the pavement on sections of the provincial road network of the E.E. Pella and in particular the provincial road Pozar – Εξαπλατάνου, as well as the maintenance of sections of road in other areas of the Municipalities of Edessa and Almopia. In the context of the interventions is included, and replacement of damaged signs, guardrails and bridge railing, and will take place and striping of the pavement. The total budget of the project amounts to 500.000,00 €.
As pointed out by the vice governor mr. Theodoridis: “Facilitate the crossing of the drivers and the transport of the qualitative products of our region through the maintenance of the provincial road network of the E.E. Pella. Improving the status and image of the infrastructure of the road network is an important priority in the development of our programming and in this direction we will continue the implementation of projects and the next time. However, the funding cuts and the underfunding of the last few years, the Regional Government creates many obstacles to the implementation of the development planning and forces us to move on to interventions and works with the poor, now, in that we have”.
