(Title) Defence Minister of Germany Karl-Theodor Chow Gutenberg consider the abolition of military service within the next ten years, in an effort to restructure the armed forces and reduce costs in the country .
“In ten years there is no doubt that it has been removed. In a very professional, top-equipped and flexible military intervention do not have the ability to train recruits,” said German Minister for the weekly magazine Der Spiegel.
“Everyone recognizes the need for change in the structure of the army,” added the Minister of Defence.
However, Karl-Theodor Gutenberg Chow said the issue will be discussed in the coming months.
