Read the communication from the president of the country: “THE anniversary of 25 March is the day of memory of the struggle of the Greek people for independence and a better tomorrow. Armed with the memory and supplies the determination and the vision, the Greek people is now looking for a way out of the grim reality. The race today should be paid to overcoming the present multidimensional crisis, and it is a struggle for the dignity of the country and its people. This fight in terms of democracy, social cohesion, with equal participation of the country into the european mainstream, it is an objective of national importance. It is a guarantee of social cohesion and the future of the new generation. This year’s anniversary coincides with the period where the refugee crisis has evolved into a major humanitarian crisis and requires a common european approach because otherwise the opportunism and indifference of some of the member will change quickly in an unchecked nationalism that will affect the vision of a united Europe. At the same time, terrorist and criminal activities in the heart of Europe, shaping a new stage and the message of the day is that we will defend the right to security, to Democracy, to Freedom. The struggle of the Greek people must be the guide today for the fight for the defense of Democracy and its values .”
