Strategic cooperation with ALBA strengthens employees and its member businesses.” With this key message begins the 8th BSE scholarship cycle for graduate studies at Alba Graduate Business School. The cycle concerns the academic year 2024-2025, addressed to members of the Association’s business executives and scholarships cover 50% of tuition fees. The announcement of the new scholarship cycle took place at an event on the occasion of the completion of the 7th anniversary of the launch of the joint BSE and Alba Training Initiative “MAZI IN KNOWTH” held at the BSE offices on Tuesday 12.3.2024. In the context of a lively discussion focusing on the importance of the continued development of human resources, executives and businesses of various sizes and disciplines, which used previous cycles of the programme, shared their experience and the benefits gained in terms of personal empowerment and corporate development. Commenting on the opportunity provided for the retraining of middle and small business executives, the Rector and Professor of International Business Relations and Strategy, Alba Graduate Business School, Mr. Costas Axarloglou, said: “The strategic cooperation of BSE and Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece, “Together in Knowledge”, seven years ago, has developed a dynamic “knowledge ecosystem” that helps executives and the business community in continuing learning to successfully manage new business challenges. The program of scholarships of strategic cooperation “Together in Knowledge” has already helped 52 executives from the BSE member companies to attend Alba’s postgraduate programs and develop the timeless skills, mentality and values for the welfare of their businesses and society.” The Chairman of the Board of Directors ALBA, Mr. Stelios Argyros, said: “SEV-ALBA scholarships, an integral part of the MAZI initiative in Knowledge, which with today’s event complement seven years of fertile presence, are indicative of the close relationship of ALBA with the business world. Through this collaboration, a tradition of excellence has been created that has earned the trust of businesses and the appreciation and respect of the academic community. I wish the graduates of the program a good career and success in the goals they have set and invite them to achieve what they have been taught, acting as responsible leaders, with their personal example – focusing on their partners rather than themselves, incorporating in their decisions the long-term economic – technological – social developments and their impact on their businesses and taking seriously the social consequences of their actions.” The President of the Executive Committee of BSE, Mr. Efthymios Vidalis, noted: “In the 7 years of implementation of the programme, over 40 BSE member companies have offered their executives the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in terms of economy, management, human resources management, extroversion and marketing, through the well-known master’s programs of Alba Graduate Business School, thanks to the support and funding of BSE. The majority of beneficiaries continue to work in the enterprise that supported their decision to join the scholarship programme, which strengthens the common BSE and Alba belief that investment in knowledge creates value for both executives and businesses.” The Director General of BSE, Dr. George Xirogiannis said: “The constant enrichment of human resources knowledge is an integral part of the BSE strategy. The joint educational initiative of BSE with Alba “MAZI IN KNOWING” serves precisely this strategy. It helps executives expand their technological and administrative knowledge on the road to the 4th industrial revolution. It enhances strategic thinking, innovation, change management, group management, but also solving complex problems. We are sure that strengthening human resources will lead us to a more modern, greener, more competitive economy. But also in a more inclusive work, with more opportunities for everyone and everyone. The success of MAZI in Knowledge prompts us to continue dynamically.
