The ’43 Commando’, the patrons of British nuclear power stations, are coming to Greece.

In Greece comes its top Special Operations Unit , “43 Commando”, which after the Americans Navy Seals, selects our country and Special Operations Units of the Special War Command for co-education in a number of highly operational difficulty items. These are the renowned British men of NATO’s ’43 Commando Fleet Protection Group Royal Marines’, who will for the first time travel to our country for two weeks of co-education along with the elite Greek SOF. For the first time in our country The jump made in recent years by the ICC Units with a spearhead by the Special Parachutists Department, which is now being formed within NATO’s top Special Operations Units, has not gone unnoticed by the elite of the elite Alliance Units, with requests for cooperation arriving from more and more countries having been ejected specifically for co-education in the unique Greek teren. The decision of the British to come to our country is of particular importance given that they are extremely selective in their co-education and difficult to leave their country, let alone in a much smaller state such as Greece. The ’43 Commando’ arrives on 26 March and will remain in our country until 5 April. A total of 32 people will take part in joint training, of which 24 operators, 3 officers and 5 additional executives for support issues. Their role and scenarios of co-education The focus of all educational activities will be the “folk” of the Special Operations Units of the ICC in Nea Peramos, while scenarios will also be carried out outside the camp either in a marine environment, or in land facilities, or in the air with the assistance of aerial means. Joint training will include a number of CQB (Close Quarters Combat) items aimed at increasing interoperability between Britain’s Special Operations Units and Greece. The “43 Commando Fleet Protection Group Royal Marines” has a total force of 550 people and belongs to the British Royal Navy (Royal Navy) based at the HM Clyde Naval Base in Scotland. The main mission of the Unit is to protect Britain’s nuclear weapons, while it still has the responsibility 24/7 and 365 days a year to protect Vanguard-class submarines, which carry rockets with nuclear warheads. The mode of operation and missions belongs to the 3rd Commando Brigade, the UK’s high readiness landing force and specializes in fighting piracy or even drug trafficking. As described features, it features from snipers who can neutralize the operators of a moving speedboat even through a pursuit helicopter, up to elite operators with specialization in battles even within residential areas or in areas with very low temperatures. Finally, the ’43 Commando’ cooperates closely with both the American Marines and the American Port Corps and its advantages include the use of all new technologies, such as modern drones and robots that assist in a number of amphibious operations, tunnels and urban tissue areas. This is technology, which Greek SOFs have also conquered in recent years with the acquisition of modern equipment. By Kostas Sarika / Source: onalert.gr
