Piraeus – Carnival Party in Korai Square

Mascarades, balloons, chocolate war, serpantines, confetti, and hundreds of kites included the party for the , of the Municipality in Korai Square, Saturday (16/3/24). The little ones fell apart in the context of the carnival in Piraeus, with their fancy uniforms while having the opportunity to attend stunts and juggleric tricks. At the festival known dj, with Latin rhythms, gave the slogan for dancing and Halloween swinging, while parents and children danced Zumba, but also traditional Halloween purposes. The protagonist, at the Halloween party and technology as all, young and old, immortalized their festive moments at 360 Carnival Video Booth. The small carnivalists shared kites with the sign and colors of the Municipality of Piraeus, so that Kathara Monday the city sky fills eagles with blue and red. In a statement the Mayor of Piraeus Giannis Moralis stressed: “The Halloween events of the Municipality of Piraeus are aimed at living beautiful moments for the citizens and visitors of our city. I am delighted that people responded to our call and Korai Square was filled with young and old, who entered the spirit of the days and enjoyed themselves with music, dance and many more activities we organized in the center of our city. These days are days of optimism and our desire is to create the conditions for our citizens with their families to live beautiful moments and smile. Of course, we expect the Piraeus and the residents of the Lekanopei to celebrate the Koulouma of Kathia Monday on the beach of Freattyda with the flying of the kite, with Goggo Tsampa and with Saracostian dishes, an offer of Olympiacos FC which I thank for its timeless, valuable support.” Deputy Mayor of European Programmes, Extroversion and Tourism Andriana Zarakeli stressed: “This year we designed a special Halloween program for everyone and especially for children.
