100 candidate trainers from all over Greece, starting next week at the University of Macedonia the seminar for teachers of the pontian dialect, which is co-organised by the University and the Panhellenic Association of Pontian Educators.
The opening ceremony will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016, at 8 in the evening, in the Auditorium of Ceremonies of the Institution, and in addition to the secretary of state will welcome, among others, the Rector of the University of Macedonia, professor Achilles Ζαπράνης and the President of the Association, Antonis Pavlidis, while the event will be moderated by journalist Pantelis Savvidis. The event will conclude with a small reception in which will be offered pontic cuisine, under the sounds of the pontic lyra.
The two-day seminar, the organization of which within the framework of the cooperation agreement which was signed between the University of Macedonia and the Hellenic Association of Pontian Educators last June, will begin on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at 9 a.m. in the Conference Room, on the 1st floor of the University of Macedonia and the detailed programme is the following:
