Started the ἑορτὲς for a 52nd ἐπέτειο of Ἐπανακομιδῆς of St Karas of Paul Ἀνδρέου in Patras…
The πρωὶ of the Sabbath 24.9.2016, χοροστατοῦντος of his Eminence, the Metropolitan of Πατρῶν mr Chrysostom was held in the New Ἱερό Temple of Saint Paul Ἀνδρέου the ἔξοδος of the Τιμίας Karas of Πρωτοκλήτου, with λιτανευτική procession and ἐτοποθετήθη in the middle of the Ναοῦ for veneration.


In commemoration of the historic anniversary of the επανακομιδής of Τιμίας Skull of Πρωτοκλήτου and Patron saint of Patras, St. Andrew on September 26, 1964, the Holy Metropolis of Πατρεών celebrates this Weekend, 24 and 25 of the month the glorious return of 52 years ago from Rome.


The ceremonies and religious events will take place in Patras, greece, with a climax on Sunday 25 September in the afternoon, with the πάνδημο Litany of the Holy Skull, the holy water in the Auction, an intracommunity sea-crossing to the pier of Agios Nikolaos and the Doxology to the square of the Three Allies.



In accordance with the Program:
Saturday 24/9/2016 and time of 7m.m. celebrated the Grand Πολυαρχιερατικός Vespers, and the day after tomorrow Sunday 25 in the morning, time 7 – 10:30 am.m., celebrated the Ορθρος and Πολυαρχιερατική Divine liturgy.
On the afternoon of Sunday time 5:45.m. it will be the start of the Processional from the Church to the Auction and time of 6m.m. you will become the holy Water on the occasion of the new fishing season. At 6.15 m.m. it will make the transition with boats in the pier of Agios Nikolaos where on 7 m.m. we will be holding a Thanksgiving ceremony in the Square of Three Allies. At 7.20 m.m. will start the Procession from the square, toward the holy temple of the Apostle Andrew.
In the framework of celebration of the 52nd anniversary Επανακομιδής of Τιμίας Karas, there will be traffic regulations of the Road, with a ban on parking of all vehicles the day after tomorrow, Sunday, was suspended the movement of all vehicles from time 17.30 until the end of the ceremony in the street ayiou Andreou, from Korai to Kolokotronis.
