They took matters into their own hands, the inhabitants of the border region of the Municipality of Pogoni, in order to…
restore – as, of course, this is possible -the miserable situation in which is a provincial road valuable for their transportation, as it connects the Upper lavdani of the villages Δημόκορη and Ψηλόκαστρο,shortening the access, to the E.The Ioannina-Kakavia.
It should be noted that in this region the inhabitants are in their majority elderly, and the poor condition of the provincial road network keeps them isolated from the K.Y in Kalpaki, Δελβινάκι, the Παρακάλαμο and from the rest of the major villages of the Municipality of Pogoni.
As stated in epirus-tv-news.gr mr. D. Papavasiliou a resident of the village on several occasions have addressed to the Municipality of Pogoni, asking for assistance, but have not been able to collect here and quite a long time…
With the first of this year’s rains, the road again became impassable, and so today the residents threw on their own initiative amount of gravel.

Mr. Papavasiliou απήθυνε appeal once again to the Municipality of Pogoni, as well as in the Region of Epirus ,since the winter is in front of them the residents in these remote villages are re-faced with isolation.
