Robbery at a supermarket in Kaisariani Civilian shot in the legs

Civilian Shot In The Legs

A civilian was injured during an armed robbery that took place at about 8 p.m. at a supermarket on National Resistance Avenue in Kaisariani.

More specifically, two gunmen in full-face helmets entered the supermarket and at gunpoint forced the workers to give them as much money as was in the tills at the time.
They then fled, before well-off most of the customers understood exactly what had happened.

However, a civilian who saw the whole scene initially attempted to block them and then chase them with the robbers shooting him and injuring him in the leg, fortunately slightly.

An ambulance arrived at the scene immediately to transport him to the hospital, as well as police forces who were unable to locate the robbers.

Police investigations are ongoing throughout the surrounding area.
