Municipality of Malevizi: they Cleaned the beach of Amoudara

“Clean up the Med”, one of the environmental activities which are a condition of award of the program “Blue Flags” and they cleared the beach of Ammoudara.
The particular beach which has been awarded this year with several Blue Flags, is a pole of attraction for thousands of foreign visitors, but also for the residents of Heraklion.
In the framework of the action “Clean up the Med”, workers from the hotels in Agapi Beach hotel, Apollonia and Santa Marina, along with aware tourists – customers of the hotel, volunteers and the support of the cleaning service of the Municipality Malevizi, of the D.K. Gazi and Μονομετοχικής Limited Company Municipality of Malevizi (ΜΑΕΔΗΜ), they cleared out a large section of the coast delivering to the visitors a spotless beach, making it the wish to maintain that for a whole year!
