Motion 100: an Urgent need for the national consultation

In a period of time in which our country is going through an unprecedented crisis with an uncertain… future, we feel that it is not allowed to remain mere spectators, or only judges. This is also dictated by the founding declaration of the Movement, which was established in order to contribute in an effort for another course with morality and consequence in public life, but the prerequisite of which is the securing of our national existence.
With a sense of responsibility we have to make the duty as a dominant element towards the society and the nation. We go beyond any political and partisan perceptions, and we recommend a national consultation in order to get the country out of deep crisis.
The conditions require the government and the parties to sit down finally at the same table, to discuss, not for power sharing but to design and implement a single policy on issues that have been plaguing the country with a unique view to the national interest.
To communicate and cooperate, in order:
– To avoid the worst, such as the national division, the social explosions and visible no longer the risk of territorial mutilation.
– To regain our national independence and pride and to ensure conditions for decent living of citizens, the hungry and the homeless.
– To ensure a climate of stability and social calm, the conditions necessary for the transformation of state structures and the transition to a modern political system. Political stability is first and foremost essential for attracting investment and development.
– To understand the lenders, and the uncaring contenders Greek territory, that would have been across the united all political forces expressing the will of all Greek citizens, a nationwide front.
Imperative highlights the need for citizens and politicians to subjugate interests of expediency and duty towards the society and country. You have to understand everyone, and above all, the government that neither today nor in the near future, you can do this heavy crisis without the support of all, without the formation of a national front.
The national consultation is a need to come right now, immediately, and not when the developments so require, with unpredictable consequences.
These views and the proposals signed by 300 strains of the Movement, made with the certainty that they express the vast majority of citizens, who wonder, “what else bad has to happen in our country to realise that it is national governments of all the forces?”.
I wonder what else?
