From 1 July the compulsory (in the sense that from there, fines would be imposed on the offenders) to apply it to industry and retail, single, according to what the Minister of Labour announced today. As Mrs. Michailidou recalled on the basis of a previous ministerial decision, this application of the digital labour card to industry began on 1 April 2024 and to the retail trade on 1 May 2024. By ministerial decision signed today (29.3. 24) Ms. Michailidou was granted an extension of 4 months for the industry and 3 months for the retail trade. In other words, the implementation – without fines for offenders – of the digital labour card in industry and retail has begun since 1 January 2024.
