Michael Charalambides died: Who was the historical strain of PASOK known as “Italian”

“He left” at the age of 73 from his life his history, Michalis Charalambides. Michael Charalambides, a member of the resistance organization PAK that founded PASOK against military Junta, was born in Alexandroupolis in 1951. Due to disagreements he left PASOK in 1999 and founded the “Republican Regional Union”. He participated in the 2000 parliamentary elections, gathering 0.47% and 32,068 votes and the 2004 European elections, receiving 0.73%, with 44,541 votes. It is worth noting that in his introduction to the 2nd World Pontic Conference, in 1988, he proposed the creation of a city on the Thracian coast called Romania and the district called Thrace – Romania.
