King Charles in Easter Mass: Moderate but visibly overwhelmed

Windsor Castle arrived on Easter Sunday morning (31.3,2024) his wife, Queen Camilla. It is noted that it is one of the king’s rare appearances after diagnosis with the first official public appearance. King Charles arrived at St. George’s chapel by car in St. George’s chapel in Windsor Castle, a burial place for his mother, Queen Elizabeth, to attend the Easter Mass. It is noted that Kate Middleton and Prince William have announced that they will not be attending Easter Sunday Mass this year, as well as the Princess of Wales has been diagnosed with cancer. As soon as King Charles arrived at the church, he returned and greeted the assembled crowd. He was moody, smiling though visibly thin with red eyes. Wearing a dark coat and blue tie Charles smiled and greeted the audience, gathered outside St. George’s chapel. One of the attendees shouted “Good Easter” with the king answering: “And to you.” 75-year-old Charles and Queen Camilla sat away from the rest of them wanting to thus protect the king’s health. Charles postponed all his previous public obligations since Buckingham Palace announced that he was to undergo treatment for an unspecified form of cancer, which was detected following tests in the context of the surgery he was undergoing in January for an enlarged prostate. Charles has retained some of his obligations such as hosting foreign officials or regular meetings with Prime Minister Risi Sunak. Last week King Charles did not attend the Mass of Great Thursday, but communicated a recorded message which was heard during the ceremony and in which he expressed his regret that he could not be present and wished the citizens a happy Easter. It is noted that only a few 24 hours ago, reports were released that King Charles has only two years of life left, while it is assumed that he is facing colon cancer and has undergone a hysterectomy.
