Indonesia: Pilots fell asleep during flight for 30 minutes and the plane took the wrong course

Two fell asleep on a flight to Jakarta for about 28 minutes resulting in their going off course. According to skynews.com, it all happened on January 5, on a flight from Batik Air from Haluoleo Airport, Indonesia to Soekarno – Hatta Airport, Jakarta. In the cockpit there were two pilots, a 28-year-old and a 32-year-old. The 28-year-old had just moved in, while his wife had twins, resulting in him not getting enough sleep. During the flight the older pilot, the 32-year-old got tired and asked the 28-year-old to take over. Soon the 32-year-old fell asleep, considering everything was under control. However, a short time later and the 28 – year – old could not bear the fatigue of the last few days and fell asleep too. The plane began to deviate its course, while in vain the control tower called the pilots. After 28 minutes the 32 – year – old pilot woke up and realized what had happened. Answer the control tower and wake up the colleague. The two brought the plane to its normal course and successfully landed it at Jakarta Airport.
