A cargo ship fell over in the “Round” – Alert the port authorities of the region…
It is a cargo ship, Greek-owned, which was launched this morning from Psachna, Evia for Thessaloniki.
A little after 8:00 in the morning, when it was sailing in the northern Evoikos gulf, under unknown conditions stranded in the “Round”.
The islet of “Round” is one of the Lihadonisia located between Kamena Vourla and Euboea.
According to this report, the 7μελÎÏ‚ crew is in good health, the ship is empty of cargo.
The port authorities of the region have set off an alarm in case there is a leak and we have water pollution, however, the information indicate that this is not happening and that it is not at risk) and the wider marine area is truly a special oasis in the northern Evoikos gulf.
The port authority already has notified trailer to pull the cargo ship, while at the same time carry out a preliminary investigation on the causes of the stranding.
