GSEE: Practical solidarity for refugees

The general confederation of Greek workers in the context of the practical solidarity of the trade union movement of the country towards the refugee-migrant populations who have been …caught in Greek territory, proceeds in a gesture of offering 500 radiators (stoves, kerosene) in order to be placed directly in accommodation centres and to contribute to the required effort to improve the living conditions.
In agreement with Hellenic Petroleum will be granted free of charge by the HELPE of the combustible material (kerosene) of such bodies.
We have asked the competent Ministry to make available without delay the heating of these bodies in the reception centres on the basis of the weather conditions and the needs that exist, a process for which we had the assurance of the Minister of Migration Policy, I. Μουζάλα.
The GSEE will continue its actions in favour of people who are in the Greek territory and hope for a better future.
