The Greek school team Badminton managed not only to overcome every difficulty and against the odds to achieve great success, in difficult times like the current one experienced by the Greek amateur sport, but to play a leading role at the global level.
In particular, the group of girls of Παλλατίδειου high School Sidirokastro, εκπÏοσώπισε Greece , managed to find the fourth position of the World Student Championship in Badminton held in Malta, as it has finally managed to win in the small final the mighty team of Germany.
A big well done to the girls of Παλλατίδειου high School Sidirokastro Life Αλελή, ΠολÏβια Tzika (Polyvia Tzika), Peace ΓκουγκλÎÏη , students of the B School, and Joan ΚαÏαπετÏίδου, a student (A high School, as well as in all team Games Kiomourtzidis Vasilis Xanthou ATHANASIOS ΟΡΚΟΠΟΥΛΟΣ Victoria Hatzina.
The responsibility of all ,to build on the great success and experiences of the children, ensuring an even better future to all children .
For the story, and the importance of the Greek success of the small school from the border town of Sidirokastro, in the first place was won by the Taipei which defeated China in the final while schools from England, France, Spain , Brazil etc.l. left out 4άδας !
I really must express my pride for athletes who honor the performance and ethos of our city, but and athletes who honor the Municipality and our country in international competitions.
The students who excelled we have to award a prize to an event with great importance and a lot of messages so that they become standards in the surroundings, narrow and wider Fotios Δομουχτσίδης
The healthy standards that these athletes display in the society and their contribution, with their actions, so that the new generation will be out of the country from the cultural and economic morass in which it is today, we owe it to the honor
The Municipality owes it to reward and compliment values, acts and performances that honor the man, and promote the development of the society.
For each Municipality sports, culture, social policy, constitute a single set of actions that contribute to upgrading the life of citizens. And in spite of all the difficult economic period which affects all areas of our life, including the Local Government, the Municipality must support both financially and in other ways, all of the Clubs which offer a healthy pastime for our young people, through sport and culture.
