George Bartzokas in view of the Red Star – Olympiacos: “It’s not a friendly game”

In statements before Olympiacos’ game against Red Star (4/4, 20:00) for Euroleague’s 33rd race, George Bartzokas stressed that there is no easy game for Piraeus. Olympiacos is hosted by the Red Star and with a win will “lock” his presence in the first six in the Euroleague score and in the playoffs. In his statements on the game, George Bartzokas referred to the difficulties of the match in Serbia, the absences of Milutinov and Petrusev, while stressing that no one within the team considers the game to be friendly, because Red Star has no substantial motive (from the Urangs with an 11-21) record. “I take the 100% view that you should not underestimate any team in the Euroleague even if they play without goals. When a team struggles without the pressure of the result it plays more freely. Most people have a lot of skills and talent. Olympiacos approaches every game with the same seriousness as last week’s one with Partizan,” Greek coach said. On whether Star will be complete: “I think all players like Teodosic and Dos Santos have returned. I think the Red will be complete with us, but I don’t think a player has much effect. Teodosic is influential, Nedovic scored against Real. Hanga plays very well. The Red Star’s tall are good, we can’t focus on a player. We will try to impose our game.” For the atmosphere: “The atmosphere is really warm. Last year we lost, last year we won the point. It is always difficult for the opponent to play with the Red Star, because of the quality of the team and the intensity his world gives. We don’t consider the game to be friendly.” For the wounded and absent: “Perushev is out we’ll try to enter with the Dove (p. 7 April). Milutinov is out, he did two team trainings, but he was gone two months, so I can’t count him. Normally Papanikolaou”.
