Free stress test for all the members of KAPI of the municipality of Neapolis – Sykies

With new specialized medical tests and with the addition of new specialties doctors in the… already expanded scientific potential of the municipal clinic enhances the municipality of Neapolis-Sykeon, the network of primary health care, which multiplies the critical services to the vulnerable social groups of our fellow citizens who are experiencing more strongly the conditions of the economic crisis.
After the modern and complete equipment of the two Municipal Clinics, which are located in the D.E. Sykies and Neapolis, and which operate under the responsibility of the Municipal Centre for Social Protection and Solidarity, has already opened the first round of specialist cardiological examinations.
This is a stress test in which it shall be free, in principle, the members of KAPI and the beneficiaries of the programme “Help at Home”. These are held at the Municipal Clinic of Naples on the premises of the B KAPI (Διομήδου Komnenos (3) and Lagadas, greece tel.: 2310.510440), upon appointment and after the necessary hint of cardiologists.
The examination is performed with the use of modern latest technology εργοδυναμικού bicycle under the supervision of the cardiologists of the senior center. From 2 March, which began these tests, to date there have been 22 stress test, and there is a daily scheduled new appointment.
New specialties of doctors

This finding highlights the importance of the proposal of the mayor of Neapoli-Sykies Simos Δανιηλίδη, who insists on the need for primary health care and the primary nursing care to be transferred to the municipalities. “It is certain that the involvement of Local Authorities in the benefits system of health services and certified structure only benefits ensures for citizens with universal access to primary health services, and the national health system and the public economy”, he stresses.

Be noted that in the framework of the expanded network of social protection and solidarity, with free services primary health care and nursing care, offered by 29 doctors of various specialties, who are daily in the service of the members of the ELDERLY, the day centre, the beneficiaries of the programme “Help at Home”, the unemployed, the uninsured, the poor and χαμηλοσυνταξιούχων.
Physicians, orthopedics, gynecologists, general practitioners, neurologists, pediatricians, cardiologists, psychiatrists, endocrinologists, urologists, ophthalmologists, and pulmonologists comprise the well-equipped clinics, with the hours of employment per week to exceed the 530, while at the disposal of the beneficiaries are laboratories, physiotherapy, speech therapy and οροθεραπείας.

City Medical Center

The building will house medical services, laboratories, social services, senior center, and the third day centre of Sykeon, the “Help at Home”, amphitheater and parking ambulance. The total budget of the project, together with equipment, eur 7,32 million. euro, which is covered entirely by the municipal fund.
