Fenerbahce : Three of her football players were invited to the TFF disciplinary board for episodes with Trumpzonspor

The case goes into the hands of sports justice! Three players are at risk, but also her team, for what happened in the game between them on March 17, at the time when the rival of Olympiacos threatens to withdraw from the Turkish league. Three Fenerbahce players, including Nigerian international Bright Osay-Samuel, were invited to the disciplinary board of the Turkish football federation (TFF) for episodes following the away match with Trumpzonspor, the federation announced today (1/4). We recall that on March 17 fans of the hosts invaded the field of the Trumpzonspor Stadium, after the referee’s last whistle, in a league match lost (2–3) by their team, while Fenerbahce players, were celebrating the victory. Bright Osay-Samuel saved a strong punch to one of these fans, who entered the field with his face covered. Two other Fenerbahce players, Dutch defender Jaden Owstervolde, who kicked the same fan, and Ifran Chan Egribayat due to “unsporting behavior”, as well as two club employees were also called for “episodes”, the Turkish federation announced. Before the disciplinary board will appear Trumpzonspor, who has responsibilities as a home team, as will Egemen Corkmaz’s coach for his behavior as well as his assistant. The fight provoked strong reactions in Turkey, three months after the violent attack on a referee by a club president after a Süper Lig match. FIFA chief Gianni Infantino denounced violence as “absolutely unacceptable”. 13 Trumpzonspor fans were then arrested, five of whom were detained. Trumpzonspor general secretary Kemal Erturk asked last week to release these fans who “were unjustly arrested as soon as possible”. We recall that tomorrow is scheduled the extraordinary General Assembly of Fenebakhce, where the team may even decide to leave the league.
