Kremlin: Discussed a ceasefire in Syria
The Kremlin announced today that the talks for a cease-fire in Syria are ongoing, and there is no consensus with regard to the settlement of the syrian crisis.
“The process is very fragile, talks are ongoing, can’t talk about unanimity in the procedure for a settlement in Syria,” said reporters Dmitry Peskov during a Press conference, when asked if Russia has proposed March 1 as the date for the start of a ceasefire.
The western official said today that Russia made a proposal to be declared by 1 March a cease-fire in Syria, but the official said that no agreement has been reached about the Russian offer.
