DYPA: “Open Days – Meet Schools” in Thessaly 11 to 13 March

The Public Employment Service ( ) organizes three Open Days events in , in Occupational Schools (EPAs) Studentship in Karditsa, Larissa and Volos, from 11 to 13 March 2024. Following last year’s Open Day, which had been successfully held in Athens, with the aim of informing about schools and programmes of vocational and technical education and training, DYPA is expanding the events throughout the country, within the premises of the EPAS and Institutes of Vocational Training (IEK), starting in Thessaly. In the three Open Day of Thessaly, along with the music and street food they will enjoy, visitors will be able from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., to chat with apprentices, students and teachers who will guide them to the school workshops. In addition, as businesses indicate difficulty in finding staff with knowledge and skills of technical professions, events will inform local communities and markets about the work and curriculum provided by IUPA schools, which are updated with the cooperation of universities and businesses leading in their field of activity (EB, EMU, NIC. 1. THEHARAKIS) and have been integrated into a process of building – energy upgrading and equipment of their laboratories, with resources of more than EUR 143 million from the Recovery and Durability Fund.
