The contract is for two years and signed with the company SYCHEM after a contest.
The desalination unit of Alonissos with a production capacity of 600 cubic meters of drinking water per day, uses the most modern technology of desalination having sophisticated design that is friendly to the environment.
The construction and operation of the unit has become self-financing within the framework of a service contract processing
In his speech, mr. Βαφίνης thanked all the executives of the Municipality who have worked for the implementation of this convention and, in particular, mr Kostas Σίδα and Nikos Anagnostou, the lady Eliana Παπαμίχο and those who contributed to the implementation of the project.
