An incredible incident happened yesterday morning at the πτωχοκοπείο of… Charitable Institutions of Andreas and Maria Kalokerinos to St. John of Knossos when a 58-year-old homeless man invaded the area and after he did “through the looking-glass,” he threatened that he’ll kill himself.
In accordance with information of the cretapost, the incident occurred yesterday a few minutes after 9 in the morning, when the 58-year-old – who is homeless and former inmate in the workhouse – entered the space and began yelling in anger.
The 58-year-old holding a tire iron, broke the door and the glass front of the work house, while it caused damage and to the office of the foundation.
He then grabbed a piece of glass and started cursing and screaming at the social worker of the work house.
Yes, this is he keeping her hostage, threatening that he’ll kill himself.
About the incident informed the police which rushed to the spot trying to calm down the spirits. However, the 58-year-old managed initially to escape from an open window with men of the police to arrest him after some time.
The 58-year-old is taken to the psychiatric clinic of PAGNI, where she underwent tests.
The information in the cretapost, indicate that both the social worker and the foundation did not want to file a lawsuit against him.
