Coming changes for the POS – Who have to install directly to [LIST]

To finalise the decisions for the POS… getting ready in the next few days the government, the time that the “building” of a tax-free remains a “headache” for entrepreneurs and consumers.
In particular, the next period is expected to be issued the Joint Ministerial Decision that will define which companies will be obliged to install a mandatory terminal POS devices, to enable consumers to pay with the electronic card and to “build” the tax-free limit of their income.
Yesterday, Tuesday (14/02/2017) held the final -as everything indicates – a meeting at the ministry of Finance to complete the syntax of the CMD. In accordance with information of the Agenda, was reviewed and the possibility of changes in the last minute.
However, on the basis of the information, with POS will have to be fitted by 30 June the branches of catering, repairs (electricians, plumbers etc.), of Education (schools etc.), clothing, footwear, rent, as well as the hair salons, gyms, legal activities (law firms), medical services (clinics etc.), points of payment accounts in the telecommunications, Energy and Gambling (agencies).
Except for the decision that getting ready but should be issued and a series of other decisions in order to clarify fully the landscape for the plastic money.
More specifically, it is expected to ministerial decisions:
– the bank inside the form, on the basis of which will be recognized by the electronic payments for the “building” of the tax-free threshold.
-the obligations of business it will be equipped with POS devices (e.g., what they will do in the event of failure or drop of the network, etc.).
The 12 branches that need to be install mandatory POS
11 of the 12 key business sectors for which it is expected that the ministerial decision, offer services (including, telephony, and energy), while the one under the sale of goods.
12 of these branches are:
Focus-bar-coffee
Repairs
Education
Clothing-footwear
Rentals
Salons
Gyms
Legal activities
Medical services
Telecommunications
Energy
Gambling
As for the small food stores, convenience stores, and grocery stores, these are expected to join in the second “wave” of businesses that will need to install POS by 31 December.
