Among the American entrepreneurs of the strategy and academic community, met by the Chinese leader was found Stephen Schwarzman of Blackstone and Cristiano Amon of Qualcomm. State broadcaster CCTV named the officials present and said they took a group photo before the event. According to Bloomberg, the meeting lasted more than an hour and a half, with delegates asking questions and C answering them. C said he does not see the need to disconnect Washington and Beijing and that he wants American businesses to invest in China, said the person. C also recognized issues with the domestic economy, adding that officials can handle them and that the Chinese economy has not reached its peak, said the person, describing the talks as open and honest. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China did not immediately respond to a request to comment on the details of the meeting. China and the US should “seek common ground in major issues, keeping their differences in secondary,” said C, according to the text of the meeting. “China’s reform won’t stop its opening too,” he said. The country plans “significant measures for the overall deepening of reforms” and the creation of a “first-class business environment”, he added. Other participants in the purely male meeting are Raj Subramaniam, CEO of FedEx, Evan Greenberg, CEO of Chubb insurance company, Stephen Orlins, president of the National Committee on Relations USA- China, Craig Allen, president of the U.S.-China Business Council and Mark Carney, president of Bloomberg.
