Athens Stock Exchange: Rise 1.27% for the General Index, at 202.66m euros per turnover

Significant profits were recorded in Athens today (14.3.2024), while the market returned again over 1,400 units, closing close to the level of 1,420 units. Terna Energy shares of GEK TERNA and Motor Oil attracted intense investment interest. At the same time, The General Index closed at 1,417.64 units, rising 1.27%. The value of transactions fluctuated to high levels and reached 202.66m euros, while 43,877,071 shares were moved. The high capitalization index rose to 1.29% on the Stock Exchange, while the mid-capitalization index declined to 0.22%. Of the shares in high capitalization, the largest rise was recorded by Terna Energy (+7,23%), Motor Oil (+5,82%), GEK TERNA (+5,72%), Mytilene (+3,40%), Quest Participants (+2,23%) and National (+2,09%). On the contrary, the shares of Alpha Bank (-0,60%), Greece (-0,40%) and PPC (-0,26%) fell. The largest volume of transactions was presented by Piraeus and Eurobank by moving 13,071,325 and 8,432,857 shares, respectively. Piraeus recorded the highest transaction value with 52.28m euros and the National with 26.71m euros. upwards 61 shares were moved, 36 jumpers and 29 remained stable. The largest rise was noted by shares: Frigoglass +8.02% and Terna Energy + 7.23%. The largest fall was recorded by shares: Nakas -6.04% and Lanakam -4,55%.
