Athens Stock Exchange: Closed 0.15% – At 119.03m euros

It closed it at slightly higher levels in today’s meeting, which was characterized by limited variations in the levels of 1,430 units, with Terna Energy, GEK, Eurobank and Alpha Bank standing out. The General Price Index on the Athens Stock Exchange closed at 1,433.04 units, rising 0.15%. Intersessionally it moved over a range of variation of 7.46 units. It recorded a lower value at 1,427.08 units (-0.27%) and a higher value at 1,434.54 units (+0.025%). The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 119.03 million, while 27,246,001 shares were traded. The high capitalisation index rose to 0.18%, while the mid-capitalization index temporarily declined 0.01%. Of the shares in high capitalization, the largest rise was recorded by Terna Energy (+3.33%), GEK TERNA (+2.221%), Eurobank (+1.73%), Alpha Bank (+1.65%) and EYDAP (+1.24%). On the contrary, the largest fall was recorded by Elvalhalcor’s shares (-5.83%), the ELPE (-1,69%), the OPAP (-1.59%), Viohalco (1.32%) and OTE (1.18%). The largest volume of transactions were presented by Eurobank and Piraeus by moving 7,114,167 and 6,293,889 shares, respectively. Piraeus recorded the largest transaction value with 26.01m euros and Eurobank with 13.69m euros. Upward 52 shares, 54 jumpers and 21 remained stable. The biggest rise was in shares: Mathios Firefighters +9.65% and Leventeris(k) +7.10%. The largest fall was recorded by shares: Optronics -8.93% and Elvalhalcor -5.03%.
