Athens Stock Exchange: 9.99% win in the first quarter of 2024

With a mild rise their prices were closed at the last meeting in March . The market that will remain closed tomorrow Friday (29.3.2024) and coming Monday (1.4.2024), due to the Catholic Easter, closed in March with a slight drop of 0.17%, after four consecutive upward months, while during the first quarter of 2024 recorded 9.99% profits. The General Index on the Athens Stock Exchange closed today (28.3.2024) at 1,422.35 units, rising 0.34%. Intra-sessionly recorded a lower value at 1,414.70 units (-0.20%) and a higher value at 1,425.39 units (+0.55%). The value of the transactions was EUR 113,34 million, while 27,038,463 shares were traded. The high capitalisation index rose to 0.40%, while the mid-capitalization index was reinforced to 0.26%. Of the shares in high capitalization, the largest rise was recorded by the shares of PPA (+2.86%), OPAP (+2.58%), Jumbo (+1.68%), Terna Energy (+1.58%) and PPC (+1.48%). On the contrary, the largest fall was made by the ELPE shares (-2.11%), Vohalco (1.61%), National (1.14%) and Alpha Bank (1.09%). The largest volume of transactions was presented by Piraeus and Eurobank by moving 6,225,391 and 6,009,967 shares, respectively. Piraeus recorded the largest transaction value with 24.18m euros and the National with 12.69m euros. 60 shares, 49 drops and 13 remained stable were moved upwards. The largest increase was noted: CPI +15.63% and Kyriakoulis +9,00%. The largest fall was recorded by the shares: Q&R -6.03% and Jiracian -4.77%.
