In the future and especially when autonomous driving is at the highest level, it will have the first reason for the safe circulation of cars. Over the past two decades we have gradually seen cars connected online, offering information and entertainment, and have contributed decisively to the increase in road safety through driver assistance systems. Today in the era of artificial intelligence, this will evolve even further and go to another level. Most cars are now equipped with sensors and systems, which correct the driving of a driver that deviates from the right way of driving. This technology will be further developed and combined with AI, there will be a significant reduction in traffic accidents. Key to this new technology will be (except other important parameters) automatic emergency braking, which will be able to prevent an accident if the driver is distracted. Artificial intelligence creates a new communication system between cars (V2V) and infrastructure (V2I), through which useful information will be exchanged and will automatically make corrective moves. This means that the vehicle will have the ability to avoid a red light, regulate the right speed and prevent minor collisions. Something that troubles today every time a driver changes a lane of direction is blind spots. This concern will soon be past all modern cars, as the vehicle’s cameras will operate as radars and create a safety belt between the two vehicles. In most new cars, this information is received through visual light in the car’s mirror. Artificial intelligence will finally play a decisive role in autonomous driving, as it itself chooses the way of driving, without spending unfair time. Although today there is debate and caution about car safety with artificial intelligence systems, soon its use will contribute to driving so that it becomes safe, with traffic accidents reduced significantly.
