May not burned to the ground as we hear, but among the buildings that have suffered damages from the fire is the historic cinema of Lefkada “Apollon”.
The reason for the movie theater was built in 1928 by a dealer named Dionysis Hard. This was the first αιθουσάÏχης that brought silent films in Lefkada.
The cinema closed in the process, but with the efforts of the children of αθουσάÏχη began reopening after the renovation, while it was equipped with new instruments. I worked only as a municipal cinema, but hosted and theatrical performances.
