American senator: “Macedonia” is not a country

The ministry of Foreign affairs…
of the republic of MACEDONIA expressed its anger at the united states department of (State Department) after the republican senator Dana Ροχραμπάχερ said that Macedonia is not a country and that the lands should be separated from their neighbors such as Kosovo and Bulgaria.
According to him, the creation of the republic of MACEDONIA was a failed project, and the atmosphere is now ripe for a new redrawing of the borders.
“My viewpoint is that the FYROM (p.p. “Macedonia” in the original) is not a country. I’m sorry, it’s not a country,” said, the senator from California to the Albanian tv channel Vizion Plus.
“There is such a division in their country that will never be able to live together in the future. For this reason, the Kosovars and the Albanians from MACEDONIA should be owned in Kosovo and the rest of the republic of MACEDONIA should belong to Bulgaria or any other country with which they believe they are related,” he said, as it transmits the Rt.com.
“The idea is to remain alive, the FYROM, because someone 30 years ago decided how it’s a configuration that should result from the dissolution of Yugoslavia”, he said.
When asked if the president of the united states, Donald Trump is in favour of separation, the Ροχραμπάχερ replied that “affects the policy makers of USA today,” given the position of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs. “We’ll have conversations in the coming months,” he added.
On the subject of occasionally re-align the borders, the Ροχραμπάχερ said that this would be perfect to be held with the peace for the Balkans in mind. The senator also added that is not afraid of the Russian influence in the Balkan region.
The reaction of Skopje
What said the senator caused the intense reaction of Skopje, the ministry of Foreign affairs to bring the issue to Washington.
“The views expressed have caused huge concern in the “Macedonia” (sic) and the region. Will fuel nationalist rhetoric in the neighbouring areas, taking us back to the past. We believe that the State Ντιπάρτμεντθα will remove any doubt about the stated positions and will confirm the policy with regard to Macedonia and the Balkans”.
