ADE: Over 300,000 transactions per year are automated with the Digital Version of Debt Certification

As of today (11,3,2024) it is possible to issue a Digital Certificate for the transfer of property from a burdensome cause and for the collection of money, for taxpayers, according to its announcement. Taxpayers can now issue the Certificate of Debt digitally without their physical presence in the DOU, according to the decision of the Governor of AADE, George Pitsilis. Automation of the process is estimated to concern more than 300,000 transactions per year and will eliminate a significant part of bureaucratic delays, saving taxpayers time and facilitating them, collecting money and selling real estate. In particular, Digital Debt Certification is granted upon application to the digital portal, following the route Applications> Tax Services > Update > Debt Certification. The application may be made: the holder of the payment or the transferor of the property or property right, the agency or body carrying out the liquidation or payment to the debtor, for the recovery of which proof of confidentiality is required, the notary carrying out the transfer of property or the establishment of the right of the deed is required. The Digital Debt Certificate has a duration of one month since its publication. Where the conditions for the granting of the Debt Certificate are not met, the applicant shall be informed of the reason for the rejection, through the myADE digital portal, and the attestation shall be issued by the Head of the responsible service.
