ADE: In an application on mobile updates and tax debt arrangements

A new application to them will enable citizens to see all their tax obligations, to receive notifications, but also to settle their obligations. As part of the expansion of digital capabilities and the exemption of taxpayers from suffering, the Ministry of Finance and the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AED), they promote another mobile application, which – after the computer – makes the mobile phone a key tool for communication with the tax authority and handling tax obligations, according to ERT. Natural persons and businesses will be able to have everything in one application. In other words, they will be able to see all their tax obligations, receive notices of deadlines for them, issue invoices and shipping notes, pay their taxes quickly and easily. For months now, AADE has been preparing the new application, which in its full development will also incorporate a digital assistant according to the standards of the chatbox of the digital portal, gov.gr. Digital assistant maigov has already more than 500,000 dialogues in his history and will soon be able to issue digital certificates for citizens with a voice command. The digital assistant of AADE will also move accordingly. It will first be able to provide answers to tax questions and then issue the required documents or certificates. The new application of AADE will also support a number of services including: Tax payment. Easily and even better by using the IRIS system, payments in a few seconds will pass to the taxpayer’s tab while a notification system will ensure that the taxpayer did not leave the taxes unpaid because he forgot the deadline. Refunds and profits. In addition to payment obligations (ENF, VAT, income tax, installment arrangements) the application will also inform of any tax returns or profits from the lottery. Documents and certificates. They will not need to be published whenever the taxpayer needs them but will be stored in the application. Invoicing. Professionals and businesses will be able via their mobile phone to issue free invoices for those who register in the application. Invoices are automatically stored and transmitted to electronic books. Digital shipping bulletins. Gradually they will be made compulsory throughout the market to facilitate control, as consignment papers continue to leave open tax holes.
