The research raises the question that had arisen in 2014, when in Sydney a law was passed that forbade the entrance of a drunken customer in stores of specific areas of the city.
The ban was about 1300 stores and target was the prevention of violence and accidents due to excessive consumption. Indeed, the relative violence recorded a significant reduction in public places and shops, but the problematic consumption in the homes is not curved, as it is estimated that two-thirds of the alcohol consumed in the country, is consumed in domestic premises.
