World Day of Poetry Event at the Amphitheater “Stavros Κουγιουμτζής” in the Panorama, set to music, poetry and recitation of poems [photos]

On the occasion of the World Day of Poetry has been established on 21 March, an event was held in the Auditorium “Stavros Κουγιουμτζής” in the Panorama, set to music, poetry and recitation of poems…
The Mayor of Pilea-Hortiatis, mr Ignatius Kaitezidis welcomed the event, stressed the value of poetry in our lives and thanked the poets, mrs Anthi Τατσούλη and mr Socratous Claus for their kind available to offer us a beautiful poetic evening in the difficult times that we are experiencing.
The deputy Mayor of Culture, Youth and Sport mr East Konstantinidou welcomed the world who responded to the invitation and mentioned “The poetry liberates the man, gives him the ability to express himself through lyrics that show the depth of human existence with thinking and feeling. Poetry means creation, and we should be particularly proud that in our country are born great poets, so that we have such a rich cultural heritage. Without poetry in our everyday life we lose contact with ourselves.”
In the event recited poems of their own eight poets while Anthi Τατσούλη with the Socratous Claus interpreted poems by famous Greek poets.
