to provide a solution for the absence of buffer zones in the northern part of the “heart” of the park (it is a creation of zones in which there is limitation of resources and special measures for the conservation of the protected area, something that the MAB is not found to exist in the gorge of Samaria)
to send to the secretariat a copy of the revised management plan with a map of zones in accordance with the criteria set out by the strategy of Seville for the stocks of the biosphere and the institutional framework of the world network of reserves of biosphere.
The deadline that they give for the mission is strictly to the 30th of September.
It is worth noting that the president of the Greek National Committee MAB / UNESCO, Michael ΣκοÏλλος, has sent repeatedly to the MINISTRY a letter which informs you about the requirements of the programme MAB / UNESCO and the need for immediate implementation of the recommendations and compliance with the rules.
