“What soul will you deliver?” becomes a movie

Two movies, actually… Or who became “a legend” because he was cut in glory, “What soul will you deliver,” becomes… two! The “What soul will you deliver?” we knew as a series at MEGA in 2000. He met tremendous success but was interrupted, never knowing why. 25 years later, he returns, not as a series but as two films: “What soul will you deliver” – Movie 1 and “What soul will you deliver” – Movie 2. The film will be produced by Pantelis Kalatzis and Showtime Productions and the script and direction of Alexander Rigas. The film’s script is inspired by the television series of Alexander Riga and Dimitris Apostolou. Mega’s black comedy was never completed. Despite the fact that the series from the beginning marked very high ratings, filming the series was finally discontinued at the shooting of the 7th episode (which also remained unfinished), leaving the case to its most interesting point: at the moment of face-to-face confrontation of the four protagonists with their “enemy”. And so we didn’t know what happened to those four girls who, after being abused in their childhood, decided at some point to avenge the person responsible: the social worker of the orphanage they grew up in. The man who sexually abused them and who has just returned to Greece from America as their protector, around the world, of abused children. Aleca, Dominique, Fofo, and Poppy talked about it, they agreed. And they built their plans, but… they stayed in the middle. The film monitors the lives of four women, completely different from each other, who meet initially during the first decade of their lives in an orphanage where they are sexually abused and continued by a social worker, Gerasimo Mantas, and once vow revenge. Now they meet again in order to make their promise. And so, we will find out how the four women’s revenge plan is completed, the consequences of their actions and the impact this act will have on today’s Greek society. The cast of the two films will be completed soon. Filming will begin in 2024 and films are expected in the halls in January 2025.
