Lately, several publications refer to the possibility of the migration flows in our region and create a hot spot.
With the occasion of the general developments we would like to stress the following:
The flows of hundreds of thousands of refugees in our country, is a result of the wars in the Middle East, in the Mediterranean, in Syria, in North Africa. These areas are rich in raw materials, natural gas, oil. For this manifest major conflicts between powerful capitalist nations and imperialist organisations.
The thousands of uprooted along with all of the obstacles faced in a long time, come to cope with the intensity of the repression on the border of E.E., with a serious possibility of even more refugees to be caged in our country without the wish. The entrapment in Greece, has the seal of.E., of the treaty of Dublin, which applying the Schengen agreement provide for border controls, giving a green light for closed borders, fences, cap refugee hot spots… And all this with the agreement of the Greek government and the NATO in the Aegean sea.
We are opposed to hot spots, which create only conditions for caging. If they come immigrants in our area, we will call the people to express solidarity and to support them with whatever they need: clothes, food, to continue the difficult journey. We will demand that the government and the respective ministries, to move fast, the procedures for the registration and relocation to the countries who wish, with procedures that will not offend the human dignity, against racist, obscurantist, and reactionary attitudes, like those of the Golden Dawn.
We demand to stop the imperialist interventions and the wars, and the involvement of Greece in them. To leave NATO now from the Aegean sea.
The people of each country can solve alone its own problems, doesn’t want leaders and “saviors”.
