Only last week they were torched for 26 cars in Copenhagen. Another 20 were hit with objects thrown by strangers from bridges. In mid-August, in one such attack killed a German tourist.
The police authorities in Denmark did not associate so far, arson attacks and have not arrested any suspects. The motives of the perpetrators remain unclear.
“They say that if someone throws the first stone, another will fly the next one, so we see these trends to flourish,” said a police officer, Peter ΓκÏόνμπεκ, speaking to the agency Reuters.
