Vorwerk Group invests in Greece by expanding its activities with Thermomix®

The leading group in the field of direct sales of high quality household appliances in the world enhances its domestic footprint and celebrates it in a unique event centered on Thermomix®. Vorwerk Group sees very strong dynamics in the Greek market due to its culinary tradition, its economic stability and the growing demand for home cooking solutions. The headquarters of Vorwerk Hellas, as well as the Experience Store will open their gates in Kifisia within the 2nd quarter of 2024, while already operating a branch in Thessaloniki, covering the needs of the northern part of the country. Both the Concept Store in Kifisia and the branch in Thessaloniki will create employment opportunities for direct sales as well as administrative positions. During the event, which was attended by the German Ambassador to Greece, Andreas Kindl, attendees had the opportunity to be informed of the plans of the Vorwerk Group for Greece, as well as to enjoy the variety of Thermomix® TM6 and Cookidoo® at 10 cooking stations. Thus, they had the opportunity to meet advisors Thermomix® from 9 different countries and get a stealthy look from the International Cuisine through the 90,000 recipes available on the platform. For the representation of Greek cuisine, Thermomix® chose as ambassador the well-known chef Petros Syrigos, who proceeded to a tasteful cooking display, for all attendees. This was also the opportunity for Thermomix Hellas to announce its long-term cooperation with ChefPetros Syrigos, who will be a great ambassador of the brand to Greece. To date, Cookidoo® has 1,300 recipes in Greek, while Vorwerk Hellas already develops Greek recipes and locally adapts the experience of Cookidoo® application. It is important that this initiative is part of an entire magical ecosystem, which seamlessly incorporates technology, cooking innovation and community participation. Apart from Thermomix®, Vorwerk also has an innovative line in the Cleaning sector with the Kobold product range, which will also be available in the store. Thermomix®, with sales of 1.7 billion euros in 2022, is Vorwerk’s most famous product and has been described as the best sous-chef for all home cooks. The promotion of Thermomix® is done exclusively through direct sales, with the exclusive assistance of the Consultants’ community. Thanks to cooking shows, everyone can experience TM6 at home, with a special contact person present and available to answer all questions while ensuring a personalized service. On the other hand, Vorwerk is also making good use of the Cleaning sector, managing in 2022 to generate impressive revenues of EUR 803 million for the Kobold product line.
