Vasilis Papakonstantinou and Vicky Karatzoglu tonight in Manou Loizos’ “Music box”

Manou Loizou’s “” opens today, Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 21:00 and Rena Morfi welcomes Vassilis Papakonstantinou, Vicky Karatzoglou and Maria Papageorgiou, to honor one of our leading melodies through stories and songs. Manos Loizos had his own story, unfolding through his unforgettable songs “And if your eyes don’t cry”, “Koutsis guitar”, “Everything reminds you”, “I follow you”, “Nothing is wasted”. The evening is dedicated to the great composer who left us a great legacy even though he left early. Manos Loizos was a multifaceted composer case, writing from enlisted political songs to tender ballads and from art and rock to heavy folk. On his twenty-year music route he wrote some of the best Greek songs, working with the songwriters Giannis Negrepontis, Fonta Ladi, Manolis Rasouli, Dimitris Christodoulou and Lefteri Papadopoulos. His songs, full of lyricism and tenderness, performed great names of the Greek song, such as George Dalaras, Harris Alexiou, Giannis Poulopoulos, Giannis Parios, Maria Farantouris, Stelios Kazantzidis and other great performers. “If I were not the son of my father, I would like to be the son of Manos Loizos” stresses in his interview Vassilis Papakonstantinou, who was a friend and partner of Manos Loizos from his first steps. The great performer remembers their first meeting, made in the presence of Manolis Rasoulis, and other stories from their friendship. Sit comfortably on your couch, opens Manou Loizo’s “Music box”.
